Helen Gardiner DC MMCA, MIRSM
(Doctor of Chiropractic)

Helen’s interest in Chiropractic was sparked at a young age following various sporting injuries and having always been fascinated with the mechanics of the body and working with people. Helen qualified as a Chiropractor in 1997 from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxford.
To further her experience, Helen has completed various studies over the years, including a Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy at London School of Sports massage and is a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (IRSM). Helen uses Soft tissue therapy as an invaluable part of her treatment, finding it highly complementary to Chiropractic techniques.
Since covid, the demand of healthcare rapidly changed and highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary working. In response, Helen has gained a Diploma in Health Studies from the University of Winchester focusing on rehabilitation and the biopsychosocial aspects of health and care.

Outside of chiropractic, Helen’s interests lie being involved with various sporting activities. Having competed at a high level as a junior in slalom skiing, Helen is now actively involved as a volunteer ski guide for Adaptive Snowsports Aldershot, helping all ages to ski. Helen is also a volunteer therapist for Ultra-X marathons, joining races around the country and abroad as part of the multidisciplinary therapy team.

Laura May Dean MChiro, MMCA, LRCC
Laura has long been aware of the benefits of chiropractic, not only because she is from a chiropractic family, but because she found it a huge aid in her own recovery after a significant injury. In particular she was drawn to McTimoney chiropractic because of it’s approach to the body as a whole, something that she holds as central to her own practice, as well as the gentleness of the technique which means it is suitable for all ages and stages. As a result Laura sometimes works with several generations from one family!
She graduated in 2015 with a chiropractic masters degree, has trained in a number of soft tissue techniques and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, Royal College of Chiropractors and is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association. She also has a particular interest in working with those who are hypermobile, in elderly care and helping to improve athletic performance.
Having welcomed a little boy in June of 2022 Laura enjoys spending her spare time with him, her family and friends.
